Exploring Pittsburgh- Ian Kaufman

The area of Pittsburgh that I explored was Squirrel Hill. While I was in the town, I walked around the town and looked for several things that I was curious to find out about. The first thing I wanted to see was what exactly was in the town and what it was like. I noticed that there was a good balance between residential areas, as there were many houses and even an apartment building, and many stores and restaurants, so it was a business friendly area. The second thing I was curious about was whether the area had more elderly residents or whether it was more filled with younger children and their families. From my time walking around, I noticed that there was also a balance in the age range of residents, as I saw several families with young children and also some elderly people walking around the area. Also, there are a lot of Jewish residents in the area, which is why there was a Jewish Community Center and a Jewish school. Overall, it was a nice area and I am happy that I had the chance to visit and look around the town.
